While the case of 30-year-old Filipina artist Bree Jonson's death is still under investigation, friends and family grieve Bree's passing through social media, reliving moments with her. Among them is celebrity photographer Mark Nicdao, who has posted a series of photos and videos of Bree while she was still alive.

In a recent post, Mark clarified his friendship with Bree and revealed they never dated.

He wrote, "To clarify, Bree is my teacher and best friend. We're not lovers but what we have is more powerful than all those labels. Hug your cherished loved one as much as you can."

Mark also asked everyone to avoid posting malicious comments. "And please can we be kind…I don't know anymore how to handle this. I'm begging everyone. Stop commenting malicious things here. It is not helping me cope."

"I failed in all my past girlfriends. I failed being the best for them...Bree healed all that sadness through art, books, writers, movies, and music. I did not pursue her because I'm afraid I'll just fail. Our friendship healed alot of my sh*t."

He concluded his post by writing, "I hope this is enough for all of you. Peace."

Celebrity friends left messages of support for Mark, including KC Concepcion.

She wrote, "Nope, you're not dying on my watch. And PS in case you didn't know--you'll live forever! Now breathe and go paint!"

Gabbi Garcia briefly commented, "Mark, yakap."

Isabelle Daza said, "Sending you so much love Mark."

Mark also shed some light on the ongoing probe on Bree's death by sharing a statement from Bree's legal team.

He said, "A statement from Bree's Legal Team. Lets please pray for Bree...please. If you can repost this…please repost."
