Alden Richards bags 'Movie Actor of the Year' award at the 36th PMPC Star Awards for Movies

Kapuso actor Alden Richards adds yet another feather to his cap!

Over the weekend, Asia's Multimedia Star was feted for his role as Ethan Del Rosario in the 2019 film, Hello, Love, Goodbye.

In a post on the GMA Artist Center Instagram account, Alden thanked the award-giving body, the film's director Cathy Garcia-Molina, and the audience that went to watch the film.

As Ethan Del Rosario, Alden portrayed a carefree playboy bartender who becomes friends with the domestic helper Joy, played by Kathryn Bernardo.

The film was a commercial and critical success, earning PhP880 million worldwide. Alden and Kathryn's performances were hailed by critics as a “tour de force.”

Alden had also been earlier recognized for his work at the 14th Seoul International Drama Awards, where he was given the Asian Star Prize.
