Kapuso leading man Rocco Nacino is on cloud nine after marking a big milestone on Facebook yesterday, November 3.
Rocco shared on Instagram that his page finally reached 1 million followers on the social media platform.
He posted, “Thank you for 1 Million followers on Facebook!
“It's been 10 years since I started showbiz, at nandiyan kayo noong nagsimula ako sa Official Facebook Page ko nung nag-Starstruck ako.”
The To Have And To Hold actor will also have a special surprise for his supporters to mark this milestone.
“Salamat sa suporta at pagmamahal ninyo! At dahil diyan, may pa-raffle ako sa mga loving supporters ko. Stay tuned sa [ipo-post] ko sa official FB page ko kung anong oras ito bukas! Thank you @gmanetwork , @artistcenter. And to my beautiful wife for these balloons! Proud to be a Kapuso!”
In a message sent to GMANetwork.com, Rocco admitted that achieving such a social media milestone felt "surreal" and that he didn't expect to amass that many fans and followers on Facebook.
"It was very surreal and humbling knowing when I started to do FB Lives again to connect to my audience and supporters while taping for To Have and To Hold.
"Di ko akalain na aakyat ng ganito kadami ang sumusuporta sa'kin. Nakakagana gumawa ng mas maraming content for them to enjoy watching kahit nasa pandemya pa rin tayo."
Rocco, who manages the Facebook page himself, was actually surprised by the reception of the fans and the engagement he got from the social media platform, considering that he just wanted to have a means to entertain and update his supporters about the goings-on in his showbiz career and personal life.
"I remember early this year nasa 400K lang ako. When I started engaging again with my supporters, ang bilis pala nung pag akyat. Malaki ang maitutulong nila sa'kin to post more enjoyable content para sa kanila."
Several celebrities also congratulated Rocco including Jon Lucas, Xian Lim, and his wife, volleyball star Melissa Gohing.
Rocco got his big break in show business when he won as second prince on StarStruck in 2009. Some of his batchmates were Sarah Lahbati, Enzo Pineda, and Diva Montelaba.
