Super Junior's Shindong in quarantine after contracting COVID-19

Super Junior member Shindong will be taking a break from all his commitments and projects for the meantime after his agency, Label SJ, confirmed that he was diagnosed with COVID-19.

Korean entertainment portal Soompi released a statement from Label SJ, which stated that Shindong came into contact with someone who tested positive for the virus.

He underwent PCR testing on November 10, and his results turned out positive the following day.

The agency added that Shindong didn't come into close contact with other Super Junior members. He is currently under self-quarantine as of writing.

Another K-pop idol, IU, recently had a COVID-19 test. Fortunately, the actress-singer had a negative result after she got exposed in a wedding event she attended.
