SHINee's Minho confirmed to star in new Netflix series 'The Fabulous'

SHINee member Minho is confirmed to star in a new fashion series.

According to a JTBC News report, the South Korean idol will be starring in the Netflix series Fabulous along with actress Chae Soo-bin. The series will be Minho's first lead role since his discharge from the military in November 2020.

'Fabulous' tells the story of friendship between four young men and women as they navigate their way through the fashion industry. The series is written by Kim Hee and scheduled to be released on Netflix in 2022.

Minho is set to portray the role of Ji Woo-min, a freelance photo retoucher who is often called a playboy. He is handsome and tall just like a movie star, but he is not used to expressing his emotions.

Minho, real name Choi Min-ho, is a South Korean rapper, singer, actor, songwriter, and model. In May 25, 2008, he debuted as a member of South Korean boy group SHINee.

He made his acting debut in the KBS2 drama Pianist in November 2010. His recent role was in the 2020 Netflix drama Lovestruck in the City and a cameo appearance in the tvN drama Yumi's Cells. He is currently part of TV Chosun's Golf King and hosts the Naver NOW online radio show Best Choice.
