To Have and To Hold actor Rocco Nacino is grateful and honored as he renewed his contract with GMA Artist Center recently.

Rocco started his showbiz career with GMA in the reality-based artista search StarStruck where he won as Second Prince.

After StarStruck, he became part of various Kapuso shows and is now considered as one of the finest actors of the Kapuso network and of his generation.

Rocco has won several TV and movie awards, including the New Movie actor award in the 2012 PMPC Star Awards for Movies, Breakthrough Performance by an Actor at the 2012 Golden Screen Awards, and the Most Promising Male Star of the Year at the 43rd Box Office Entertainment Awards.

Overwhelmed and grateful, Rocco stated in an interview that he is happy to know that he is still on the run despite being with the industry for more than a decade.

"I'm very happy that I can still stand out even after so long in the business. For me, I feel like 10 years is already long. Napapansin ko in my 10 years [in showbiz] ang bilis ng pangyayari, ang daming nagaganap, ang daming proyekto na pwedeng gawin," he said.

The actor also related all the learnings he had from his mentors and colleagues in showbiz.

"I believe sa mga sinasabi ng mga tao from showbiz na "You are only as good as your last project." So it's something that I really take it to my mind in order to scare myself... scare ah, takutin, na to remain humble and look back to people who helped you to get where you are. 'Yan ang mga learnings na natutuhan ko from StarStruck which i try to still practice until today," he recalled.

Currently, Rocco plays the role of Gavin in the GMA Telebabad series To Have and To Hold with Carla Abellana and Max Collins.
