The multi-awarded actress marked the continuation of her Kapuso journey at the renewal of her contract with GMA Network held recently.

Her colorful accomplishments in film and television documented her growth in the entertainment industry from her humble beginnings as young Jodi Reyes in the Philippine adaptation of Korean drama series Stairway to Heaven.

A slew of local and international awards later, Barbie is up to tell more stories with GMA Artist Center.

Teary-eyed throughout the contract signing event, the homegrown Kapuso shared how grateful she is for the trust and love given to her by her Kapuso family.

“GMA's love for me is incomparable. Talagang pinagkatiwalaan nila ako at hanggang ngayon ay inaalagaan nila ako,” she said.

Known as Barbie's second fathers in the industry, GMA Network Chairman and CEO Atty. Felipe L. Gozon and Executive Vice President and CFO Felipe S. Yalong shared heartfelt messages to congratulate the actress' contract renewal.

Atty. Gozon emphasized that Barbie's many successful projects are testaments to how she has earned her spot as one of the most remarkable young actresses today.

Yalong also recognized the 24-year-old actress as “one of GMA's most successful homegrown artists.”

Thanking Barbie for her continued trust in the network, GMA Network Films Inc. President and Programming Consultant to the Chairman Atty. Annette Gozon-Valdes promised to break through more meaningful milestones with the actress in the Kapuso Network's sincere care.

The hard-earned growth of Barbie Forteza as a multi-faceted artist allowed her to gain recognition as one of the most accomplished Kapuso stars in this generation.

After 12 years, Barbie is an unstoppable force in her stairway to success as a proud Kapuso.
