5 Reasons why we love the multi-hyphenate Chanyeol of EXO
EXO is known for their talents, amazing discography, and most especially for their heavenly live vocals. Not only can this K-Pop juggernaut sing like they eat CDs for breakfast, each member is equally lovable that you just can't help but stan.
Chanyeol is no exception to this, and we are giving you five reasons why we simply adore this multi-hyphenated idol.
1. Versatile rapper
He is EXO's main rapper for a reason, and he can tear the stage up with his skills alone. As one of the most versatile idol rappers, his verses are worth waiting for in every EXO song. One thing notable about his style is that he can bring so much emotion to his lines. Our favorite would have to be his part in “Forever!”
2. Heavenly vocals
EXO's vocal prowess is one of the best in K-Pop that even their main rapper is exceptional when he sings. Chanyeol can definitely slay the vocal position, showing off his singing skills in EXO's ballad songs, and fans are in love with his deep raspy voice! We would love to list all the tracks where he ate his parts, but his lines in "For Life" will be forever seared in our hearts.
3. Can play multiple instruments and participates in songwriting and production of EXO songs
Chanyeol is indeed a man of many musical talents, and he is not shy to show them off! He can play the guitar, bass, piano, and drums!
EXO-Ls would also know that Chanyeol, along with fellow EXO members Chen and Lay, co-wrote the Korean version of the track "Promise." This makes us 10 times more emotional whenever we listen to this song.
Of course, who can forget the albums a.k.a. masterpieces by EXO-SC? He was actually involved in the songwriting and producing of most of the songs for "What a Life" and "1 Billion Views." We really can't wait for this duo's comeback!

4. Gift that keeps on giving (literally)
K-Pop is a billion dollar industry, and EXO is considered as one of its biggest acts. For someone like Chanyeol who has worked relentlessly, it is no surprise that he is rich and loaded.
This idol spared no expense for his friends as he lovingly gave all his members laptops so that they can play video games. Giving gifts seems to be his love language.
This generosity was also extended to his fans. Chanyeol surprised EXO-Ls with lavish, hand-picked, and even handmade gifts that he handed out to everyone who attended his birthday event through the years.
Unknown to some, he also made a huge donation for deaf children. He signed up to be their regular sponsor to support them in covering the costs of cochlear implant surgery. Isn't he the best boy?
5. He loves his family more than anything else
Thanks to social media, we were able to get a glimpse of some of the sweetest and cutest moments between Chanyeol and his family.
His love for music can be attributed to his dad, and we just can't thank his parents enough whenever they would show us snippets of their son being in his element.
He too is well known to have a soft spot for his sister as they're famous for being #SiblingGoals!
The way a person interacts and takes care of his family reveals a lot about his personality and we are just humbled that we support an admirable young man!
