Barbie Forteza, natupad ang pinapangarap na challenging role sa 'Wish Ko Lang'

Kaabang-abang ang unang pagganap ni Kapuso actress Barbie Forteza sa "Pasko ng Pag-asa: The Wish Ko Lang Christmas Specials" bilang isang babaeng may tatlong katauhan.

Ayon kay Barbie, talagang pinaghandaan at pinag-aralan niyang mabuti ang karakter ni Sunshine sa "Tatlong Katauhan ni Sunshine" episode na mapapanood ngayong Sabado sa bagong Wish Ko Lang.

"Thankfully, we had a chance to meet virtually with a psychiatrist kaya we were able to discuss the proper execution of the character/s in the case of Sunshine.

"In terms of characterization, I went straight to YouTube for research. I watched real people with [Dissociative Identity Disorder]. How they transition to another persona and their behavior. I also turned to some of my favorite powerful movie characters as pegs," pagbabahagi ni Barbie.

Sa Twitter post, inamin ni Barbie na na-challenge siyang gampanan ang karakter ni Sunshine na mayroong multiple personalities.

Nagpapasalamat din ang aktres sa oportunidad na ibinigay ng Wish Ko Lang na makaganap ng ganitong kakaibang role.

"This is my first 'Wish Ko Lang' guesting so that alone is pretty special for me. Now that I am opening the December Specials of 'Wish Ko Lang' really brings me joy and I just can't wait for everyone to watch all the episodes," sabi ng aktres.

Bukod sa netizens, humanga maging ang ilang celebrities kay Barbie sa trailer pa lamang ng "Tatlong Katauhan ni Sunshine."

"It's a must na mapanood ang episode na ito. Ang galing ni [Barbie Forteza] and team 'Wish Ko Lang' [John Mychal and Lea Reyes] and the writers. Ibang Barbie ito," paghanga ni Tina Paner.
