Brent Valdez remains a loyal Kapuso after recently renewing his management contract with GMA Artist Center.
In his interview with GMA Network media members, Brent expressed his gratitude for the trust and support that he receives from GMA Network.
"Super blessed, super thankful kasi all these years hindi po nawala ang tiwala at support sa akin ng GMA Artist Center especially sa mga bosses ko and sa higher ups sobra po akong nagpapasalamat," he said.
Brent started his Kapuso journey as one of the members of the now-defunct boy group, One Up. While in the group he was able to showcase his incredible singing and dancing skills together with fellow Kapuso stars Yasser Marta, Dave Bornea, Prince Clemente, Nikki Co, and Jay Arcilla.
He said "I started sa boy group na One Up from there na-hone ako ang dami kong natutunan sa grupo ko... then [nabigyan kami ng solo projects]."
The actor also admitted that he is still learning his craft and he's determined to improve himself as an artist.
"Hindi pa doon nagtatapos 'yung learning eh hanggang sa mga oras na ito natututo pa rin ako and I think 'yung naging highlights nito is dito ko nakita kung ano ba talaga 'yung purpose ko dito sa GMA and ano 'yung purpose ko sa industry na ito sa [loob ng anim na taon]," he shared.
Brent is also part of the upcoming GMA Afternoon Prime series Artikulo 247 with Rhian Ramos, Kris Bernal, Benjamin Alves, and Mark Herras.
Congratulations, Brent!
