Miss Universe PH Beatrice Luigi Gomez

Miss Universe Philippines Beatrice Luigi Gomez is taking the time to show her gratitude while she waits out her quarantine.

Miss Universe Philippines 2021 Beatrice Luigi Gomez is still holed up in quarantine. So, to make good use of her time, she has started to say her “thank yous” to the people that were behind her successful run on the Miss Universe pageant.

Over the course of three posts on her Instagram account, Beatrice expressed gratitude to fashion designers, hair and make-up teams, style teams, and the Miss Universe Philippines board of directors, calling the board of directors in particular the family that built her to be “on top of my game even at my lowest of lows.”

Beatrice also emphasized the difficulty of getting to the Miss Universe pageant, stressing that it took “sleepless nights, unending hours of work, dedication and sacrifice.”

The “thank you” posts come after the Miss Universe Organization announced that Beatrice would not be participating in any interviews or welcome festivities after her quarantine is over as she will be heading directly to Cebu to help with Typhoon Odette recovery efforts.

Beatrice had earlier shared that she had seen how things quickly turned “ghastly” in Cebu during a Facetime call with her mother and sister (), who were both trapped in their homes during the height of the typhoon.

The Miss Universe Organization has already called on local and international pageant fans to help with the relief efforts, even partnering with a remittance app and pledging to match donations made with it.

Aside from Bea, celebrities like Andi Eigenmann and fellow beauty queen Tracy Maureen Perez have also called on their followers to aid with the relief efforts.
