BTS Suga fully recovers from COVID-19

BTS lead rapper Suga has fully recovered from COVID-19, Big Hit Music confirmed via Weverse today, January 3.

“Suga, who had been receiving treatment from home for the past ten days since Friday, December 24, is now able to return to his daily activities,” the statement read.

The South Korean agency reiterated that Suga did not experience any symptoms and is still currently regaining his health at home. They also extended their gratitude to the group's fans who showed sincere concern for their artist's health, as well as to the medical professionals who continue to help combat the COVID-19 pandemic.

“We will continue to place the health of the artists as our top priority, and to vigilantly follow the healthcare guidelines,” Big Hit Music added.

The “Daechwita” rapper-producer also took to Weverse to update their fans after confirming his recovery from the virus.

Aside from Suga, fellow BTS members RM and Jin have also tested positive for COVID-19 last December 25, Saturday. The K-pop supergroup is currently on an extended break to "recharge" after capping off their BTS Permission to Dance On Stage concert last year.
