
Yeonjun from the South Korean boy band Tomorrow X Together (TXT) claimed the top spot on Twitter's worldwide trends yesterday, January 6, after officially opening his personal Instagram account under the handle “yawnzzn.”
The K-pop superstar debuted on the social media platform with a photo of himself and a simple caption that read, “Hi.”
As of this writing, Yeonjun's follower count has soared to three million.
TXT fans, collectively known as MOA, took to Twitter to express their excitement about the idol's newly launched Instagram account, propelling his name to top the social media giant's worldwide trends.
Tomorrow X Together, commonly known as TXT, is Big Hit Music's latest boy group endeavor after K-pop supergroup BTS. The five-member ensemble, composed of Yeonjun, Soobin, Beomgyu, Taehyun, and Huening Kai, debuted in early 2019 with their first mini-album, The Dream Chapter: STAR.
Last December, TXT cemented its name as the first South Korean artist to chart three new albums on the Billboard 200 in 2021 with their Japanese EP Chaotic Wonderland, Japanese album Still Dreaming, and second studio album The Chaos Chapter: FREEZE.
