Record Label YG Entertainment sparked excitement when they released an intro video yesterday, January 10, for the highly-anticipated comeback of the agency's idol group TREASURE.

After more than a year, TREASURE members Hyunsuk, Jihoon, Yoshi, Junkyu, Mashiho, Jaehyuk, Asahi, Yedam, Doyoung, Haruto, Jeongwoo, and Junghwan will light up the K-pop world once again with their return slated on February 15. The group is set to launch its first mini album The Second Step: Chapter One.

Even though the group only debuted in August 2020, TREASURE already has a proven track record of hit songs which includes: “BOY,” “MMM,” and “I LOVE YOU.”

Ardent fans are ecstatic with their comeback with netizen Debbie R posting, “FINALLY we have a date! Treasure is gonna shake the world, you can't run, it's the Treasure Effect.”

Another netizen, john Banana127 reacted to the news saying, “It's definitely going to be a hit, no doubt.”

Last July 2021, Doyoung and Junghwan, were diagnosed with COVID-19, but both have recovered from their bout with the dreaded virus.
