The secondborn of Kapuso married couple, Iya Villania and Drew Arellano, Leon, has tested positive for COVID-19.

In an Instagram post on January 12, the Mars Pa More host shared that her son has joined her on the “dark side” and revealed that the latter woke up with a fever and experienced vomiting during the morning of that day.

She narrated this recent experience through the words, “Geez… this COVID is so tricky ah! It's not as simple as positives with positives and negatives with negatives. The moment someone tests positive and is put in a room with other positives, the most recent positive's day 1 becomes everybody else's day 1 (did u get that?).

“So, before having Leon join the dark side and bringing us all back to day 1, Drew and I had to decide for him to join the “clean side” since he was already on day 7 (although I brought him back to day 4). Thank goodness he tested negative in 2 antigen tests showing that he's no longer infectious. So now, he'll continue to help take care of Alana, whose mother and yaya are both now in isolation.”

The expecting momma still hopes for the best for her two other kids, Primo and Alana, as well as their two house helpers, who are taking care of their home while the 35-year-old television host is in isolation.

Iya then reiterated that this virus is very tricky, saying, “It's almost like it's better if everyone gets sick nalang so that you can all start and end together, but then you also don't want to risk it and still hold onto that others are spared coz you don't know how bad it might actually hit them.”

She went on, “If anything, given the situation, I still thank God that he allowed for Drew and I to get thru this fast so that we could already be on the road to recovery to care for the little ones when it's their turn.

Iya also looked at the bright side and added, “we might not have the vaccine for the kids yet but at least they'll now develop the antibodies.”

On January 10, the “Chika Minute” host contracted COVID-19 while she's pregnant with her fourth child.

Other showbiz figures and personalities, who have also tested positive for COVID-29 include Hidilyn Diaz, Pia Wurtzbach, Arnold Clavio, and Mikey Bustos. Here are other celebrities who have contracted the virus this January 2022.
