The global coronavirus pandemic may have slowed things down, but Kapuso stars Gabbi Garcia and Khalil Ramos are happy that things are getting back on track for their latest project together, Love You Stranger.

In an interview with entertainment reporter Nelson Canlas that was aired on 24 Oras, the pair both shared how excited they were to get back to work, especially since the production was supposed to start up again this month but the surge prevented it from happening.

“It's very much pushing through and we're excited to work on it finally. We're going to be working on it together with News and Public Affaris and ang tagal na naming kine-crave at pinaghahandaan 'yung characters namin sa Love You Stranger,” shared Gabbi.

The couple also shared about their lock-up taping preparations, especially now that lock-in tapings have become the new normal during the pandemic. As the pair admit themselves, one of them has more items on their shared lock-in taping checklist.

“Si Gab ang mas marami ang nasa checklist. Nakikihiram lang ako parati,” Khalil shared.

“Share na kami ng gamit kasi one month mahigit 'yun. Alangan naman tig-isa pa kami ng lutuan. Lahat ako may bitbit so kinukuha niya sa akin lahat,” Gabbi added.

Aside from their excitement at getting back to work, Gabbi and Khalil also shared their excitement at being part of the “movement” that Sparkle is starting with the artists of the Kapuso Network.

“I am so proud to be proud of Sparkle, of Artist Center, because I've basically grown up with them. I was part of their management since I was 15 years old and full GMA talaga ako ever since,” recalled Gabbi. “So, to see them grow, to see us grow together as a management and as an artist, I just feel so proud and happy and secure.”

“I am so glad to be part of a movement. I am so happy and thrilled na ma-experience ko ito. Ang dami nilang plano that are really exciting. As an artist, I can't wait to finally collaborate on things that are new to them,” added Khalil. “'Yung energy na gusto nilang mag-innovate, mag-create, and bring out the best in their artists, ramdam na ramdam namin. I am super excited for what's in store this year, kung anong magagawa namin together, and also for my co-artists.”
