Filipina-American actress Ivory Aquino is making history in Hollywood as she gets cast as trans woman hero Alysia Yeoh in Batgirl.
Alysia Yeoh is the first transgender character to appear in a DC Comics feature film.
Fans guessed Ivory will be appearing in Batgirl when actress Leslie Grace, who will be playing Barbara Gordon or Batgirl in the film, posted a photo on social media and captioned it with "Barbara and Alysia," a bat emoji, and tagged Ivory in the post.
