Kristoffer Martin, AC Banzon are now married

Kristoffer Martin has tied the knot with his non-showbiz partner AC Banzon on Thursday, February 3.

Held in Capas, Tarlac, the civil wedding was presided over by Mayor Reynaldo L. Catacutan.

The 27-year-old Kapuso star bared the news in a now-deleted Facebook post, along with a photo of them flaunting their wedding rings during the ceremony.

“Yep. This happened today,” he wrote in the caption.

AC also turned to Instagram to upload clips from the intimate ceremony, even sharing a congratulatory greeting from Christine Lim who was among their few wedding guests.

“Congratulations, newlyweds,” she wrote.

Their daughter Precious Christine was also there to witness them exchange their vows. Overwhelmed with his emotions, Kristoffer even broke out into tears of joy halfway through the ceremony.

Kristoffer and AC had previously dated for seven years before ending their relationship in December 2020.

Rumors about their romantic reconciliation first sparked when eagle-eyed netizens spotted their similar wristbands during a Bohol beach trip in July 2021.

The actor, however, only confirmed that they have officially reunited in an Instagram post to mark his 27th birthday last year. He shared a photo of their family of three - himself, AC, and their five-year-old daughter Precious Christine - as he reflected on how his faith helped them find their way back to each other.

“27 - with my life and my anchor. It's been rough but we're still here. These two have been the strongest people I know. Thank you for your unconditional love. Lord, iba ka kumilos. Salamat, Lord, sa mga pinaintindi mo sakin. 'Di mo ko iniwan from the start. I will forever trust you, Lord,” he wrote.
