Heart Evangelista admits shooting for Netflix but remains mum if it's 'Bling Empire'

Kapuso Queen of Creative Collaborations Heart Evangelista admitted during the press conference of I Left My in Sorsogon on February 4 that she did a project for the global streaming giant Netflix. She however kept mum if it is for the second season of 'Bling Empire,' a reality show that focuses on the life of wealthy Asian-Americans who are based in Los Angeles.

When Heart went to Los Angeles in August 2021, she met with 'Bling Empire' stars Kane Lim and Kelly Mi Li, adding fuel to the rumors about her involvement in the show.

"I can't say if it's Bling or something else but definitely, I did a film for a show on Netflix," she admitted in an interview. "Hindi ko alam, sa totoo lang, kung kailan siya lalabas."

Now that she is set to appear in an unnamed Netflix show, Heart said that when it comes to her career as a fashion icon and influencer, she is taking it one step at a time.

"Anything abroad siguro, parang hindi mo siya aasahan because it's really destiny for me if you want to achieve anything in Hollywood. With my career path [as a fashion influencer], I just take it a day at a time.

"Kung saan ako hipan ng hangin at kung feeling ko tama 'yung intuition ko na dapat dito ako pumunta, 'yun ang gagawin ko. So, right now, I really have no solid plans what my next steps are. Kung saan ako gustong dalhin, bonus na lang sa akin 'yun at i-enjoy-in each step."

Heart currently stars as Celeste in GMA's well-loved primetime series I Left My Heart in Sorsogon opposite Richard Yap and Paolo Contis.
