It's still a few weeks away, but Asia's Limitless Star Julie Anne San Jose wants fans to look forward to the final part of the Limitless Musical Trilogy, “Rise.”

In a Facebook Zoomustahan with fans from all over the country, Julie Anne assured her followers that just like the first two installments of the Limitless Musical Trilogy, she and the team behind the production have put in a lot of hard work, especially with ensuring that there are elements connecting this final part with the two that came before it.

“Continuous lang 'yung kwento pero hindi ibig sabihin na hindi mo mae-enjoy 'yung bawat isa since separate shows siya. Meron pa ring mga elements na kasama consistently doon sa bawat part,” she explained.

Just like the first two parts that explored Mindanao and the Visayas, “Rise” will also look at the beautiful hidden gems to be found in the country, as well as the beautiful spots that we may have overlooked. Musically, Julie Anne promises the same quality as the initial two installments, but with a different feel.

“We still have live music, bawal ang lip sync, live music pa rin with different kinds of sounds na pinaghandaan ng musical director at buong team,” she shared. “I'm very excited about this kasi 'yung Mindanao ibang feel kasi siya, ganoon din sa Visayas. Ito naman for sure magiging bago na naman ito for everyone.”

Julie Anne is particularly excited for fans to see who she will be performing with on “Rise” as well as for them to hear the songs she will be singing. Just like in the past two parts of Limitless, she said “Rise” will continue to highlight OPM, with her delivering new interpretations of crowd favorites. But perhaps the most exciting thing for her fans is the release of the full version of a song that was first teased in “Heal.”

“Finally, ire-release na namin siya, very excited for everyone to finally hear the full song. I've been writing a lot of songs and this song is one of them. It really means a lot to me kasi parang siya 'yung naging journey ko sa 'Limitless.'” she shared.

While she had previously described “Heal” as celebratory, Julie Anne chose the words “closure” and “liberation” to describe this final part of the trilogy.

“Closure from the things that we still hold on to, 'yung mga parts ng past na nakakabit pa siya at naka-linger sa iyo. For me it's also liberation, yung moment na yun na you start to let go of things that have been bringing you down, like baggages and negativity. Nakawala ka na dun, nakahilom ka na at ready to rise, pagbangon, new beginnings,” she explained.

With the Limitless Musical Trilogy set to conclude this April, Julie Anne says the whole experience has been a way for her to learn more about herself.

“Ever since na nag-start yung journey ko sa 'Limitless,' mas marami akong natutunan sa sarili ko, mas marami akong na-discover. Naging love letter ko ito para sa lahat dahil bawat isa sa atin ay may kanya-kanyang pinagdaanan sa previous years kasi the past few years have been challenging. We've all had our different battles. Hindi lang ito para sa akin pero para din sa inyong lahat,” she shared.

“Rise” is set to premiere on April 9, 2022, with tickets available at gmanetwork.com/synergy. Tickets are priced at Php 599 (General Admission); Php 1,199 (VIP); and Php 2,399 (Synergy Pass Premium).
