Julie Anne San Jose and Jessica Villarubin excited to perform at Expo 2020 Dubai

Kapuso divas Julie Anne San Jose and Jessica Villarubin are performing at the Expo 2020 Dubai on March 30.

"We're closing the Expo 2020 Dubai, it's extra special for all of us. Ang tagal naming nag-pe-perform ng walang live audience kasi, although televised siya, kami kami lang 'yung nasa loob ng studio, kami kami lang 'yung nag-chi-cheer," Julie said in an online interview.

Along with celebrating the prestigious expo that was originally scheduled for 2020, the Kapuso divas also want to promote GMA Pinoy TV's campaign for Pinoys abroad.

"May theme song ang GMA Pinoy TV, we really want to help promote the campaign 'Stronger, Together.' Sa gitna ng pandemic and sa kabila ng lahat ng pinagdadaanan natin nananatiling resilient ang mga Pilipino," Julie shared.

"I'll be singing some of my original songs, a cover song, may be upbeat, may mellow, songs people can relate to," she continued.

Meanwhile, Jessica is showcasing her high notes at the said expo.

"Yung mga pasabog na ginawa ko sa 'The Clash' ganoon din ang gagawin ko sa Dubai, bibirit ako sure ako diyan. May upbeat din para maka-jam din 'yung mga kababayan natin sa Dubai.

Julie added, "Ang sarap po sa feeling kasi tatlo kami nila Xian at Jessica na dadalhin ng GMA sa Expo 2020 Dubai. We prepared a couple of songs, and medleys. I can't wait to sing for our kababayans."
