J-Hope of BTS


BTS member J-Hope has tested positive for COVID-19 and is experiencing mild symptoms.

BTS member J-Hope has been diagnosed with COVID-19.

J-Hope showed symptoms of a sore throat and visited a hospital to take a PCR test on Wednesday, March 23, which came back positive for COVID-19.

BTS's music label Big Hit Music said in a Weverse statement that J-Hope will be undergoing treatment at home.

Allkpop reported Big Hit Music's statement saying, "J-Hope presented symptoms of a sore throat and visited a hospital to take a PCR test on Wednesday, March 23, and was diagnosed with COVID-19 this morning (March 24). j-hope has completed up to his third dose of the COVID-19 vaccine and is currently not presenting any extraordinary symptoms other than a sore throat, and is undergoing treatment at home while under quarantine.

"J-Hope is planning to take part in activities scheduled to take place next month once his at-home treatment concludes."

He is the sixth BTS member to get COVID, following members Suga, RM, Jin, Jimin, and V. J-Hope is fully vaccinated from COVID-19 and has also received a booster shot.

Earlier this month, BTS performed at their first in-person concert Permission to Dance - Seoul at the Seoul Olympic Stadium.

He is still planning to join BTS's scheduled activities next month, including an in-person concert in Las Vegas on April 8, 9, 15, and 16.

The group will also be performing live at the Grammy Awards where they have been nominated Best Pop/Duo Group Performance for their song "Butter."
