Benedict Cumberbatch admits he misses working with Robert Downey, Jr.

By Aaron Brennt Eusebio

Hollywood actor Benedict Cumberbatch admitted that he misses working with fellow A-lister Robert Downey, Jr., who used to play the character of Iron Man in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Unang Hirit host Lyn Ching had a chance to talk to Benedict ahead of the worldwide premiere of the much-awaited Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness.

"Robert Downey, Jr. Iron Man, no longer with us. Sad," the 45-year-old English actor answered when asked who among his Avengers co-stars he misses the most.

"No, he's amazing, and I had a great time working with him in Avengers. He's become a great mentor."

Aside from Robert, Benedict said he also misses 'Spider-Man' actor Tom Holland.

He continues, "Tom, as well. I've worked with him, we're friends, and we have fun on and off set. I'd love to be reunited with him again."

In Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, Benedict plays the powerful Doctor Strange, a neurosurgeon who became a Master of the Mystic Arts.

If given an opportunity to be like Doctor Strange in the real world, what would he do with his power?

"If I could control anything, it would be overly aggressive, angry, reactive triggers in people so that you can prevent conflict by immediately planting a seed of what causing empathy, love, and understanding.

"I think that would be a great superpower to have in this world."
