Enzo Pineda on his Playlist experience, Ligang iLike, and Kakambal ni Eliana

Tuloy-tuloy ang pagdating ng mga projects for Kapuso actor Enzo Pineda. He currently stars as Julian in the Afternoon Prime series Kakambal ni Eliana, is part of Sunday All Stars' Ligang iLike, and has another TV series and a possible movie coming soon.

GMANetwork.com sat down with the former Starstruck V First Prince after the Playlist: League of Artists Musical Recital event last July 18, where he talked about singing in front of an audience, the challenges of being in Ligang iLike, and why should Eliana choose Julian over Gabo.

"It was fun! It's my first time singing sa malaking audience. Totally different from me dancing, at least there's a first time for everything. Sooner or later, kailangan ko ring matutong kumanta, and I'm just really thankful na everyone enjoyed our performances. Natuwa ako sa sarili ko kasi hindi ko in-expect na kakayanin ko siya, but I did. It was a very good experience," shares Enzo who, together with other Artist Center talents, showcased their singing skills in the said event.

Will we see him singing in Sunday All Stars soon? "Hopefully! Siyempre practice makes perfect, so I need to practice more often. Tingnan natin. Hopefully soon makikita niyo kong kumakanta sa Sunday All Stars," he says with excitement.

Speaking of Sunday All Stars, Enzo also shared his thoughts about his team, Ligang iLike. "It's actually challenging because it takes most of our time now, for meetings and kung ano man 'yung mga prod numbers na gagawin namin. It's a team effort also, not just the leader, not just us. The production is also part of it, lahat ng staff, para mapabuti namin 'yung show. Competition is nice because it makes us do more. We're aiming for a goal. Not just for the ratings but we also want to win as the Best Team, the Best Performer."

He adds, "Nakaka-excite kasi lahat kami gustong manalo. It brings out the best in everyone. 'Yun 'yung napansin ko sa Sunday All Stars. Even though may mga stressful na pangyayari, mga misunderstandings, it's part of the show. It's because we love our show and we care for it. We are making an effort to make it better."

As for his afternoon show Kakambal ni Eliana, Enzo is very grateful to be part of such a top-rating program. "I'm just really thankful sa lahat ng nanonood ng Kakambal ni Eliana because napakataas po ng ratings namin. I just feel so blessed sa lahat ng bumubuo ng Kakambal ni Eliana, the actors, the staff, the crew, the director. It's a team effort so I'm really thankful."

When asked why Eliana should choose him over Gabo, Kristoffer Martin's character, this is what the teen heartthrob had to say. "Tingin ko dapat mapunta sa akin si Eliana dahil mahal na mahal ko si Eliana. At saka si Julian, minsan may pagkahina man ng loob, pero bumabawi siya. Kaya ni Julian tanggapin lahat ng sakit dulot ng mga kasalanan niya kay Eliana."
