Bianca King on loving again: “I won’t settle for anyone less than what I deserve now.”

Besides being the lead star of a GMA Afternoon Prime series, Bianca King has also been named by a popular local magazine as one of the 100 Most Beautiful Stars. At the Maghihintay Pa Rin blog conference, GMANetwork.com caught up with the mestiza actress.
How does she feel to be part of the 100 Most Beautiful list? “I’m honored again to be part of the list. I think third or fourth time na ‘yan,” said Bianca.
What are the characteristics that made her stand out? “Siguro, because I try to be different. Kung mayroong cliché na sinasabi, pinag-iisipan ko talaga kung anong pwedeng sabihin na makatotohanan na hindi niyo pa naririnig before,” replied Bianca.
She added, “Siguro din, ‘yung transition ko from doing kontrabida roles kung saan ako nakilala, tapos successfully ako nakatransition into doing lead roles na bihira na yatang nangyayari ngayon.”
Bianca also stated that she tries to be holistic by doing different things besides acting.
“Ako kasi, I really value my personal time, my private life outside the limelight. Very healthy ang aking social life. Mahilig akong mag-entertain ng mga kaibigan sa bahay and I cook, I bake,” shared Bianca.
She also maintains her positive aura by taking care of her body.
“For exercise naman, my exercise regimen before I started the show was very strict. I exercised two to three times a day. ‘Yung yoga, twice a day. Ngayon, mga three times a week nalang. I run also. I join a lot of fun runs and running competitions,” stated Bianca.
When it comes to love, Bianca believes in taking chances. According to her, “Ang philosophy ko in love and relationships is if the opportunity to love somebody who loves you back presents itself, you don’t turn your back on that kasi it doesn’t happen everyday.”
She added, “After every relationship na nagtapos, feeling ko talaga, ako na ‘yung pinakamayaman at pinakasuwerteng tao sa mundo kasi ang dami kong baon na life lessons na mai-aapply ko sa sarili ko, self-improvement, pati sa susunod na suwerteng lalaking mamahalin ko.”
From all her experiences in love, what is the most important thing that Bianca has learned?
“I won’t settle. ‘Yung waiting time kasi, hindi mo naman masasabi ‘yung timing ni God. Kung kakabreak mo lang today, tapos may dumating na parang okay din, anong gagawin mo? Yung parang ay, ayoko, kakabreak ko lang…hindi ako ganun eh. Basta for me, I won’t settle for anyone less than what I deserve now,” she declared.
“Whoever man ‘yung mamahalin ko, this time around, I’m sure that he deserves it na,” concluded Bianca.
