Ngayong May 11 ng umaga, inanunsyon ng blog na Pageanthology 101 ang pagkamatay ni Fanny.
Caption nito sa kanilang post, "The whole Philippine fashion and pageant community mourns by the sudden demise of renowned make up artist, designer and actor FELIX MARIANO FAUSTO JR or popularly known as Tita Fanny Serrano."
