Kapuso star Rabiya Mateo took to a trip down memory lane as she looked back on her Miss Universe 2020 journey on her social media.

In her Instagram post, the beauty queen-turned-actress shared a series of photos and videos during her competition days at the renowned pageant and began her post with the words, “Rabiya Mateo, Philippines!”

She then expressed her gratitude to everyone who showed their love and support, saying, “Random photos and videos from my MU journey that happened exactly one year ago. Forever grateful to all the people who rallied behind me. Love lots!”

In the comments section, Rabiya's boyfriend and fellow Kapuso Jeric Gonzales left a sweet message for his significant other, “Always proud of you. I love you.”

The Ilongga beauty ended her journey in the 69th Miss Universe pageant in the Top 21.

This 2022, Rabiya became an official Kapuso as she's currently a talent under Sparkle GMA Artist Center, the talent management arm of the Kapuso network.

“I'm happy kasi maraming opportunities 'yung binibigay sa akin ng GMA, hindi lang pagdating sa acting. Also, sinasalang nila ako sa hosting.

“I feel like I'm blessed and I have so much to offer. So, mas ginaganahan talaga ako kasi malaki 'yung tiwala sa akin ng GMA,” she said in an interview with GMANetwork.com.
