Korean celebrity Seo Ye-ji has officially made her comeback on the small screen with the premiere of drama Eve on June 1.

The new drama kicked off strong, according to Nielsen Korea. It garnered an average nationwide rating of 3.6 percent, making it the No. 1 show in cable TV.

Seo Ye-ji's is starring in Eve as Lee Ra-el, a femme fatale seeking revenge for her family.

This marks her first major role in a drama following It's Okay to Not Be Okay (2020) where she starred with Kim Soo-hyun and gained international fame.

Eve is a romance-revenge drama about a rich man's 2 trillion won (approximately $1.7 billion) divorce lawsuit that shocks the entire nation. Unknown to the public, the lawsuit is the result of a revenge scheme from 13 years ago. The drama has a star-studded cast including Seo Ye-ji, Park Byung-eun, Lee Sang-yeob, and Yoo Sun.
