Authorities in Iloilo City have launched an investigation into an incident involving a man who flashed his private part to two women who were jogging at the Iloilo Sunset Boulevard.

The incident happened at past 7 a.m. on June 15, 2026.

The complaint, MJ, said she was jogging with her friend when they passed by a man who appeared to be peeing behind a white vehicle.

To their surprise, the man suddenly flashed his private part to them and laughed while doing so.

MJ said she berated the man but he still continued.

“Dalawang beses kong sinabihan. Sabi ko, hindi ka ba nahihiya? Tapos lumalabas pa rin ang kanyang ari. Ang ginawa niya, hindi talaga okay na paglaruan sa harap namin. Hindi man matatakot ang kaibigan ko kung normal ang pag-take ng lalaki,” she said.

MJ pulled out her phone to take a video of the act but this was when the man scrambled to get into the car and sped off.

When they checked the spot where the car was parked, it reportedly did not seem like the man actually peed.

Iloilo City Police Office (ICPO) Director, Col. Wilbert Parilla, said charges will be filed against the man once he is identified.

ICPO has coordinated with the Land Transportation Office (LTO) to trace the vehicle he used.

“Itong klaseng gawain ay hindi dapat dito sa city natin na napakamatiwasay. At ang area ng Sunset Boulevard is for recreation. We will file appropriate charges kung ano man ang nararapat. Whether an ordinance or any violation,” he said.

The city’s Public Order and Safety Management Office said it will bring the incident to the attention of the so-called Green Guards.

The Green Guards are on duty until 2 a.m.

“Still, ipaparating namin sa tawo sa kanilang oras ng duty, sa mga critical na oras mula alas kwatro nga hapon hanggang alas dos ng madaling araw. Dapat ma-check nila ito,” said POSMO head Uldarico Garbanzos.

MJ hopes the city will take the matter seriously because the incident was traumatic for her and her friend.

“Naniniwala ako na kung pababayaan ninyo ito, maaari itong lumipat sa ibang lugar at doon naman gagawin ulit ang kanyang ginawa dahil para sa kanya, wala mali sa ganun,” she said.
