Ashley Subijano Montenegro is all fired up and ready to begin a new chapter in her pageant journey, after bagging one of the top crowns in the Miss World Philippines 2022. The coronation night was held last June 5 at the SM Mall of Asia Arena.

The daughter of former Unang Hirit host Hans Montenegro. Ashley won the Miss Eco Philippines 2022 crown.

Ashley posted on Instagram after winning, “Find that passion [and] let it burn a fire within you, let that fire become your light at the end of the tunnel.”

“Thank you to everyone that has supported me throughout coronation night [and] reached out to me. Birthdays sure can be full of all kinds of surprises.”

She also addressed those sharing their opinions about the results of the Miss World Philippines pageant this year and stressed that she's fully committed for a back-to-back title in the Miss Eco International.

Kathleen Paton represented the Philippines in the international pageant and was hailed as the winner of the 2022 edition last March.

The beauty queen from Makati stated, “Yes, I have seen the vast responses about the opinions of the placements…but all I will say is that I did my very best last night, [and] I will continue to do so as your Miss Eco Philippines 2022.

“I said I have been training to win an international crown for the Philippines since Dec 2019, [and] that holds true. Because my dearest, WE ARE GUNNING FOR A BACK TO BACK WIN! @kathleen_paton has done half of the work for me with her victory of bringing home the Eco International crown earlier this year, now it's my turn!

“And the next chapter towards that begins……….”
