Kapuso stars Mavy and Cassy Legaspi paid tribute to their grandfather, Reggie Villarroel, or as they fondly call him, "Daddy Groovy."
On Instagram, Mavy wrote a message for his Daddy Groovy as he thanked him and promised to keep his daughter Carmina safe.
He wrote, "Thank you for everything, Daddy Groovy. Thank you for being so strong for all of us. Rest easy but keep drinking pilsen for me up there! Cheers!"
"It's not easy, I know you hate to see us cry. I'll do my best to smile. Don't worry, I'll keep mom safe. We love you!"
For her part, Cassy shared some snaps of her grandfather, calling him the "strongest man" she knows.
The First Lady actress wrote, "The strongest man I know. I love you forever Daddy Groovy."
Earlier today, June 7, Carmina Villarroel announced the passing of her father, saying that he is now reunited with his wife, Carmen Muñiz-Villarroel.
