Sparkle artists greet everyone a Happy Father's Day and shares advice from their dads

Whether you're a celebrity or just a regular Filipino, you probably carry around with you a memorable piece of advice from your father. In a special Father's Day video, Sparkle artists Andre Paras, Cassy Legaspi, Brianna, and Joaquin Domagoso share some of the advice that they've received from their famous fathers.

In the three-minute-long video on the Sparkle GMA Artist Center YouTube channel, the four stars greeted Filipino fathers a happy father's day even as they shared words of wisdom they've received from their fathers on how to survive in the entertainment industry.

According to Andre, the best advice he's received from his celebrity father, Benjie Paras, is to always listen to their director, as the director acts as the second parent on a film or television set. True to his comedic roles, Benjie also advised his son to have fun and enjoy what they're doing.

Meanwhile, Cassy said her father, Zoren Legaspi, advised her to always be herself and not let anyone bully her, and always stand her ground.

Brianna, whose father is showbiz legend Michael V, is to make the most out of every opportunity and have fun while doing it, whether that opportunity is a workshop, a gig, or an audition.

Joaquin, on the other hand, said that the advice he received from his father is applicable not just to his showbiz career, but to his life outside of the industry as well. According to him, his father told him to always be respectful to people no matter what so as not to have bad blood with anyone in the industry.
