Luis Alandy shows his soft side to David Remo

Luis Alandy got discovered on a print magazine. In time, he has proven that there’s more to him than meets the eye. With his passion and talent in acting, he became a part of a number of Kapuso shows including Yesterday’s Bride, Luna Blanca, Broken Vow, Iglot, My Lover, My Wife, Beauty Queen, Luna Mystika, Dyesebel and Indio

Last September 12, 2013 on the set of Binoy Henyo, GMANetwork.com caught up with the Kapuso actor for this exclusive interview.

“On my off days, I go to the gym. Tapos, if I can, I spend time with friends. Right now, I’m reading two books,” he shares on what he usually do off-cam.

Luis isn’t complacent when it comes to what he loves most, acting. “I try to improve my craft kasi nanunuod ako ng maraming movies. And, nag-oobserve ako ng mga tao para lang pag-aralan ‘yung behavior, parang ganun, or movements ng tao.”

We asked him about how David is on set. “Makulit si David in real life, kasi dahil sa stage ng bata. I can play with him ‘pag play time.”

He also admits to being like a father to David, “ pero ‘yung time na dapat work, minsan nagiging strict ako sa kanya. Of course in a soap opera, we do a lot of scenes, so I tell him na huwag muna mag-play, mamaya na tayo mag-play,” explains Luis.

He added, “Siyempre, naiintindihan ko rin ‘yung side ng bata, ‘yung memorization and everything. Bago sa kanya itong ganitong karaming scenes in one day. Tulungan kami, tulungan kami ni Sheena [Halili] at ni Direk [Albert Langitan]”

When asked if  portraying a father role made him think of  becoming a father soon? Here's what he has to say, “of course, there’s a part of me that would want to take care ng sarili kong anak habang bata pa ako pero there’s a right time for everything.”

“Ayoko rin naman na magrush into something na hindi ako prepared but in time siguro mga three years from now,” says Luis.
