Angelu de Leon officially turned a new chapter in her life as she took her oath as councilor of Pasig City, representing the second district.

On Instagram, Angelu shared her photos while wearing a beautiful modern Filipiniana made by fashion designer Randy Ortiz.

"God has turned a new leaf in my life," she wrote in the caption.

Angelu was sworn in as councilor on June 30, alongside Mayor Vico Sotto, Vice Mayor Dodot Jaworski, and Congressman Roman Romulo.

Former Born To Be Wild host Kiko Rustia also took his oath as councilor, representing the city's first district.
