SEVENTEEN drops release date for 'CHEERS'

A day after dropping the entire tracklist of their latest repackaged album SECTOR 17, K-pop boy group SEVENTEEN is continuously treating Carats as they announce the release date of their new song "CHEERS."

The group took it to their official Twitter account to share the good news about the new track. According to the post, the official teaser for "CHEERS" will be dropped on July 6, 2022, at 12:00 a.m. (KST) while the official music video will be released on July 7, 2022, at 12:00 a.m. (KST).

"CHEERS" serves as a pre-release track for the upcoming release of SEVENTEEN's latest repackaged album SECTOR 17 and will be featuring the group's leader line which comprises of SEVENTEEN's main leader, hip hop unit leader, and main rapper S.Coups, performance unit leader and main dancer Hoshi, and vocal unit leader and SEVENTEEN's composer and producer Woozi.

"CHEERS" also marks the comeback of SEVENTEEN's triple threat who first released their song "CHANGE UP" way back in 2017. As seen on the tracklist of SECTOR 17, "CHEERS" is composed by Woozi, Bumzu, Vernon (SEVENTEEN's main rapper), and Ohway!.

Carats could not contain their happiness and excitement over this comeback and took it to their Twitter accounts to share their feelings.
