'Voltes V: Legacy' stars grace this year's Toycon PH

Ahead of its release, some of the cast members of Voltes V: Legacy graced the second day of this year's Toycon Philippines at the Megatrade Hall in SM Megamall. The pop culture event is a three-day convention for toys and collectibles, cosplay, comics, gaming, and digital entertainment.

Ysabel Ortega, Radson Flores, Raphael Landicho, and Matt Lozano greeted their fans in person during the convention last Saturday, July 9.

The actors joined Voltes V: Legacy director Mark Reyes for the panel interview and shared some updates about the highly-anticipated live-action anime adaptation of the popular Japanese anime, Voltes V.

Director Mark came to "declassifiy production intel reports" including the show's premiere which is set to happen in 2023.

Also spotted at the Toycon were GMA Entertainment AVP for Drama Helen Rose Sese and Voltes V: Legacy executive producer Darling Torres, and representatives from Telesuccess Productions, Inc., the local licensing agent of Toei Company, Japanese creator of Voltes V.

Voltes V: Legacy is an exclusive offering of the GMA Entertainment Group. Its script, written by Suzette Doctolero, was approved by Toei Company, Ltd. and Telesuccess Productions, Inc.
