As the coronation night for Miss Supranational comes closer and closer, Miss Supranational Philippines Alison Black is also hurdling one challenge after another on the way to the crown. The latest of which is the pageant's closed-door interviews.
In a post on her Instagram account, Alison posted several photos of her in a pink and red outfit made by designer Mara Chua. In the caption to the post, Alison wrote that she had just finished her closed-door interview and that it was an opportunity for her to “champion women-led businesses.”
The closed-door interviews come after the Miss Elegance challenge that was held over the weekend, and also after the pageant's still ongoing fan vote, where Alison placed in the top 10.
The Miss World Philippines Organization announced Alison's standing on its social media pages, and also called on Filipino fans to download the Miss Supranational app to help Alison enter the top 12 on coronation night.
Last week, Alison also drew attention for the country and her bid for the Miss Supranational crown by posting a photo of herself in a modernized orange terno designed by Noel Estopito. According to Alison, the pageant is an opportunity to display the Filipinos “creativity, strength, and palaban-ness” to the rest of the world.
Alison also wore the modernized terno to the Supra Model Night.
At the coronation night for Miss Supranational happening on July 16 in Malopolska, Poland, Alison is hoping to place higher that her predecessor, Dindi Pajares, who ended her Miss Supranational journey in the top 12, with Chanique Rambe of Nambia crowned as the new Miss Supranational 2021.
