Kim Seon-ho is set to star in the upcoming stage adaptation of the 2013 docu-drama movie 'Touching the Void' after hiatus.

South Korean actor Kim Seon-ho turned emotional as he delivered his public apology about the recent forced abortion controversy with his ex-girlfriend.

According to AKP News, Seon-ho appeared crying in front of reporters as he read his apology letter at the press conference for the play Touching the Void which will serve as his comeback acting project after his hiatus.

He said, "I am really sorry and apologize for sharing this at the press call event. Many people worked hard from this spring to summer to make this play. I feel like I have caused a hindrance to everyone so once again apologize to the team and everyone."

"I am truly sorry for causing concern to many people with bad news," he added.

"Looking back, I have reflected a lot on my shortcomings. All I can say is that I will put forth the effort to become a better actor and a better person," he continued.

The Korean actor will play the role of Joe, who was isolated on a snowy mountain in a distressful accident, in the said play.

Seon-ho began his career on TV in the 2017 Korean drama Good Manager and rose to prominence as "Good Boy" Han Ji-pyeong in the hit 2020 television series Start-Up.

Meanwhile, Asia's Multimedia Star Alden Richards will play the role of Seon-ho as "Good Boy" in the upcoming Philippine adaptation of Start-Up on GMA.
