GOT7's Youngjae felt all the love from Filo Ahgases during his Manila mini-concert and fansign event
More than two years after K-pop boy band GOT7 visited the Philippines, the group's main vocalist Youngjae returns to Manila and meets Filo Ahgases (Filipino fans) once again in a mini-concert and fansign event.
The first one from GOT7 to return to the country, Youngjae shares, “I've been practicing and looking forward to coming here in Manila. It feels so amazing. It is so beautiful.”
The Korean artist first showed a glimpse of his comeback in the country by going live on IG and sharing with his fans the meal he ate from an iconic fast food chain in the Philippines. He says as he recalls the chicken, spaghetti, and peach mango pie he ate, “Yesterday, I ate Jollibee. So delicious!”
As he entered the stage at the New Frontier Theatre last July 23, Youngjae kicks off his mini-concert with a performance of his song “Tasty” from his first mini-album Colors from Ars and received a lot of screams from Filo Ahgases who have been long waiting for his return.

To fuel the fans' anticipation, Youngjae gifted his Filo Ahgases a performance of his new track “Focus” from his latest mini album Sugar before he finally sat down and talked to them.
As Youngjae chit-chats with fans and shares his efforts upon returning to the country with them, he also played “Guess the Song” to which he flexed his powerful vocals and impeccable dance moves.

Filo Ahgases also proved to Youngjae how much they support him through a “Yes or No Quiz” game where they were given statements about the K-pop idol and guess whether these are true or not. Youngjae was proud of his fans for having answered all the questions correctly and with confidence.
The K-pop idol shared that he has always been anticipating his return to the Philippines ever since he left in 2019. With the memorable screams of Filipino Ahgases, Youngjae will never forget his experience and is eager to do more fun things with them.
Because it was a mini-concert after all, Youngjae showered his fans with more performances, including those of his songs, “Vibin' and “Sugar”. Filo Ahgases who have been longing for the tracks' live performances felt the effort of Youngjae as he passionately sang and danced to the songs.

To thank Youngjae for coming back to the country and performing in front of them, his Filo Ahgases surprised him with a heartwarming and emotional fan project video. In the video, fans shared, “First of all, thank you for coming back here, we missed you a lot. You guys promised that you won't make us wait for another 3 years just to see you guys again and here you are, the first one to come back.”

Filo Ahgases also expressed how Youngjae was able to touch their lives even if he is miles away from them. “Despite the distance, you are the person who gives us strength everyday. For working hard and sharing your music, we are sincerely grateful. You never fail to make us feel loved no matter what and we hope you feel our love back 333 times more. We will love you and we will work with you for a lifetime. Congratulations on Sugar. Congratulations on your mini concert tour. Congratulations Choi Youngjae! You've worked hard. We are proud of you and we will always be with you.”
A teary-eyed Youngjae felt all the love and sincerity from his Filo Ahgases and said, “I was thinking that maybe if it was like this sweet, I should have come earlier.” Along with this, the singer promises to visit the country more often now that restrictions are easing.

To further thank his Filo Ahgases, Youngjae performs his song “Crema” and surprised his fans with a performance of GOT7's “NANANA.” He also did a fan service as he finally performs GOT7's “Girls Girls Girls” and went around the venue to serenade his fans closely.
Filo Ahgases felt the love from Youngjae during the goodbye session as he one by one said his farewell to them. With squinting eyes that looked happy and content, Youngjae ended the concert on a cheerful note and with a hopeful promise of return.
