Actress and Apoy sa Langit star Maricel Laxa took her entrepreneur husband Anthony Pangilinan as her date to the GMA Thanksgiving Gala.

The couple looked absolutely glamorous with Maricel donning a Rajo Laurel gown while Anthony sported a suit by Mark Tamayo.

Husband and wife had the time of their lives at the gala as they met with Maricel's Apoy sa Langit co-stars.

Anthony shared some of their fun interactions on his Instagram account.

"Nagkita kami ni Stella. Nag-high five kami," he said of meeting Lianne Valentin who plays the antagonist to Maricel's character Gemma in the show.

He also met Zoren Legaspi who plays Gemma's scheming husband Cesar.

"Isa ka pa, Cesar," he wrote as he playfully frowned and made a fist at Zoren.

Anthony and Maricel also took some snaps with top Kapuso leading ladies.

"More and more friends in the industry are telling Maricel na galit sila kay Stella," he wrote as Maricel took a snap with Kapuso Primetime Queen Marian Rivera.

He also teased a special project that Maricel might be cooking up soon.

"You guys ready for a 'special project' involving these two?" he asked as she shared a photo of Maricel and Start-Up PH star Bea Alonzo.

The GMA Thanksgiving Gala was a celebration of the 72 years of GMA Network.

The star-studded event was held on July 30 at the Shangri-La The Fort.

The gala also raised funds for various projects of the GMA Kapuso Foundation which included relief operations for those affected by the recent earthquake in Abra as well as repair and building projects for public schools damaged by typhoons.
