Gabbi Garcia and Khalil Ramos collaborate with Thai actors Tay Tawan and New Thitipoom

Real-life Kapuso couple Gabbi Garcia and Khali Ramos extended Filipino hospitalities to Thai actors Tay Tawan and New Thitipoom when they visited the Philippines for a fan meet event in July 2022.

Khalil and Tay became good friends when they joined the popular Japanese series Find The Wasabi in 2019 alongside Singaporean singer-actor Daniel Sher.

Speaking with GMANetwork.com, Gabbi and Khalil revealed that both Tay and New want to try Filipino foods so they brought the two to a Filipino restaurant in Makati.

Khalil said, "It was fun. It was short pero very fun. Ngayon ko lang na-meet si New, si Gab ngayon niya lang na-meet parehas, si Tay 'tsaka si New. So, it was fun to get to talk to Tay again, sobrang gusto niya kasi kumain ng Filipino food. 'Yung unang sinabi niya sa amin, 'I want to try Filipino food.'"

"So, talagang nag-effort kaming maghanap ng restaurant para makatikim sila ng real and authentic Filipino food, that's why we brought them to Sarsa sa Makati. Sobrang nagustuhan naman nila.

"It was very short pero jive kaming apat, e, even though may slight language barrier, we were still able to have fun and bond together. Enjoy lang, sobrang chill lang nila parehas."

Gabbi added that they made Tay and New tried several Filipino foods such as Isaw, Sisig, Sinigang, and Halo-Halo, which the two Thai actor really loved.

"They're both very warm, and sweet. Napakadaling pakisamahan kasi game sila parehas and we appreciate that and we're looking forward to bond with them more," she said.

"Kasi, as Khalil said, jive talaga kaming apat, ann I really had fun with them. Kakatuwa kasi they're so humble, and so warm."

Netizens will soon watch how jive the four really were since they all brought their cameras. In fact, at their fan meeting, Tay called Gabbi "beautiful."

"Nag-collab pa both sides, so they had a camera with them, we also had a camera with us. So, 'yun 'yung dapat abangan ng fans din nila, nag-collab kami parehas."

Gabbi and Khalil currently stars as LJ and Ben in GMA Public Affairs mystery-romance series Love You Stranger.
