Justin Bieber puts a pause on touring to focus on health

By Faye Almazan

After recently resuming his world tour, Justin Bieber announced anew that he is taking a break “for the time being” from touring to prioritize his health.

"I'm going to take a break from touring for the time being. I'm going to be ok, but I need time to rest and get better,” the Canadian singer said in an Instagram post on Wednesday.

Bieber went public earlier this year about his diagnosis with the Ramsay-Hunt Syndrome, which caused partial paralysis to his face.

The diagnosis subsequently led to the cancelation of the remaining North America shows of his Justice World Tour.

Last July, the singer announced that he will resume touring to perform in Italy and play the rest of the tour. However, Bieber said the past six live shows “took a real toll” on him.

"This past weekend, I performed at Rock in Rio and I gave everything I have to the people in Brazil. After getting off stage, the exhaustion overtook me and I realized that I need to make my health the priority right now,” he explained.

The Justice World Tour is set to run until March 2023, with shows in South America, South Africa, The Middle East, Asia, Australia, New Zealand, and Europe.

Bieber thanked his fans for their support,” I've been so proud to bring this show and our message of justice to the world. Thank you for your prayers and support throughout all of this! I love you all passionately!”
