Derrick Monasterio made netizens swoon with his vocal prowess as he recently made a short song cover of a classic track.
In an Instagram post, the Return To Paradise star shared a video of himself driving his car while singing “Valerie” by the late British singer-songwriter Amy Winehouse.
“Why don't you come on over? #instacover Clearly not my key but I'll take it,” he wrote in the caption.
Among those who commended Derrick for his amazing talent in singing were Kapuso Soul Balladeer Garrett Bolden, The Clash Season 2 grand winner Jeremiah Tiangco, and seasoned actress Gladys Reyes.

Apart from being a hunk actor, the 27-year-old artist is also a great singer. In 2021, Derrick showcased his impressive voice when he released his single titled “Virgo.”
Derrick currently stars as Red Ramos in the afternoon drama series Return To Paradise, shown every Monday to Friday, 3:25 p.m, on GMA Afternoon Prime.
