Kapuso artists receive warm welcome in the Together Again' concert
Kapuso artists Dingdong Dantes, Bea Alonzo, Julie Anne San Jose, Rayver Cruz, Aiai Delas Alas, and Lani Misalucha were full of gratitude because of Kapuso fans warmly welcoming them during the two-day "Together Again: A GMA Pinoy TV @ 17 Concert" held at the Pechanga Resort Casino, in California last September 24 and 25.
In an interview with Aubrey Carambell on 24 Oras, the Kapuso stars who performed in the concert expressed their thanks and gratitude to their fans. Kapuso Primetime King Dingdong Dantes expressed his happiness that he was able to perform in front of Filipinos in the US again after a few years.
“We're finally together again but this time, we're definitely stronger,” he added.
When the pandemic started back in 2020, all public events and concerts were postponed or not allowed to avoid the spread of COVID-19. However, in August, GMA Pinoy TV announced that they will be having their first concert since the lockdown in the US.
Start-Up PH star Bea Aonzo meanwhile expressed how she does not want this concert to be the last time they meet and perform in front of fans.
“Talagang naramdaman namin ang warmth ng inyong pagtanggap at sana hindi po ito ang huli,” she said.
The pairing of Asia's Limitless Star Julie Anne San Jose and Rayver Cruz known as JuliVer made sure to make fans swoon as they sing and dance to classic OPM songs. The two artists said that they want to perform to “give back” to their fans and supporters.
“We always want to bring you closer to home kaya po kami nandito,” Julie said.
Rayver, meanwhile, added “Nandito naman po kami para mag-give back ng isang napakagandang show para ma feel good naman 'yung mga kababayan at Kapuso natin.”
While Asia's Nightingale Lani Misalucha gave audience goosebumps with her performance, Comedy Queen Aiai Delas Alas meanwhile, made sure to make audiences laugh out loud with her antics.
“Sana po kayo ay talaga naman pong nag enjoy kasi after so many years, andito po kami para paligayahin kayo,” Aiai said.
“Talaga namang nakakasarap po sa damdamin na together again po tayo,” Lani added.
