Lolit Solis issues apology to Bea Alonzo: 'I Am Very Sorry'

By Kristian Eric Javier

Despite taking a long time to attack Start-Up PH star Bea Alonzo on social media, entertainment columnist and talent manager Lolit Solis issued an apology to the actress.

In an Instagram post on October 18, Lolit posted a picture of Bea and her co-star, Alden Richards, saying that it was because she took notice of what the bashers were saying to her about being canceled in the actress' product launch that she started attacking Bea.

For that, I Am Very Sorry,” she said.

She added that she already thought about Bea getting hurt by what she wrote before and expressed her admiration for her manager, Shirley Kuan, for protecting Bea from her by canceling her involvement in the product launch.

Lolit also expressed her sadness about being called a bully, saying that she has been a long-time fan of the John Lloyd Cruz-Bea Alonzo love team, and cleared the air by saying that she's not mad at Bea.

I Am Very SORRY,” she added.

In a separate post, Lolit said that she didn't know what pushed her to take notice of what the bashers are saying against her story on Bea and her new series, adding that it may be her second childhood that caused her to do so.

She also admitted that Shirley and Bea have a good talent/manager relationship and expressed her admiration for the talent manager.

“Aminado ako na baka OA na ang mga nasulat o nasabi ko about Bea Alonzo,” she added.

GMA Network also released a statement, saying that they will continue to support Bea and that they do not condone anyone saying things that will affect their artist negatively.
