Asian Television Awards Kapuso nominees

This year's Asian Television Awards nominees were announced last October 25 and included Asia's Limitless Star Julie Anne San Jose and Asia's Romantic Balladeer Christian Bautista for their performance in 'Still.'

Several Kapuso stars, including Asia's Limitless Star Julie Anne San Jose and Asia's Romantic Balladeer Christian Bautista among others, have reached another milestone as they are recently nominated at the 27th Asian Television Awards (ATA).

On October 25, ATA announced that the nominations for the 27th awards are out on their website where a few Kapuso stars are included.

All-Out Sundays host Christian Bautista was nominated for the Best Leading Male Performance for the Digital programs for the musical narrative series “Still.”

Meanwhile, Maria Clara at Ibarra actress Julie Anne San Jose and theater actress/singer Gab Pangilinan are both nominated for Best Leading Female Performance for the Digital programs for the same series.

Additionally, "Still" also received a nomination for the Best Original Digital Drama Series. The series also received a few other nominations including Best Theme Song and Best Original Screenplay.

Eat Bulaga Dabarkads Maine Mendoza also received a nomination as Best Entertainment Presenter/Host for her Philippine travel and lifestyle show #Mainegoals. The show featured different tourist spots in the country as well as the culture of the locals.

The Asian Television Awards is a yearly event that happens in December to recognize Asians' excellence in programming, production, and performance.

Entries come from a wide range of content producers, from free-to-air TV stations, to pay TV platforms, and even digital or streaming services, as well as the many independent production companies in Asia.

The ATA is set to hold its first-ever live event on December 1 (Manila) and 8 (Singapore) after two years of holding virtual ones due to the pandemic.
