Khalil Ramos still hoping to find stolen family car

By Aedrianne Acar

Kapuso actor Khalil Ramos couldn't hide his sadness during an interview with 24 Oras, when he gave an update about their old family car stolen last October.

The actor took to Facebook on October 27 and asked the public for help with any information about their stolen vintage Mitsubishi Montero, which was owned by his grandfather.

Khalil told Chika Minute that the car has sentimental value to their family.

He explained, “Ang high nung sentimental value cause that was my lolo's car and inalagaan talaga 'yun ng dad ko. So, heartbreaking pa rin for us.”

Despite the situation, Khalil stated that he is still hoping that they can recover it with the help of the Philippine National Police.

“But, we are still hopeful na sana maimbestigahan ng maayos [ng] Anti-carnapping group and the PNP is doing their best naman in looking for the car, kaso mahirap lang kasi talaga ma-track down.”

He also shared this advice with fellow car enthusiasts, who are collecting vintage cars.

“If your car is old, kailangan mo lagyan ng GPS tracker, cause older cars are more vulnerable to carnapping incidents,” Khalil noted.

“And 'yun if ever mahanap namin, 'yun 'yung una naming gagawin lalagyan na namin siya ng GPS tracker.”
