#GMAHOAAccess: Nadech Kugimiya and Urassaya Sperbund hold first fan meeting in PH
Thailand's beloved stars Nadech Kugimiya and Urassaya "Yaya" Sperbund are in the Philippines for their first fan meeting!
Nadech and Yaya are Thai celebrities who made it big overseas with their dramas including Game Rai Game Ruk, Leh Lub Salub Rarng, and The Crown Princess.
The two stars enchanted their Pinoy fans with their singing and love for Filipino culture.
The show started with a duet from the pair, singing "Way Back Into Love" followed by a solo song performance from Nadech and Yaya.
The lovers also answered questions sent by fans, with Yaya revealing she loves Halo-Halo and Adobo while Nadech wants to visit Palawan with Yaya.
They also played a game to test how well they knew each other, and for every wrong answer, one of them would take on a dare which involved trying a Filipino dish.
Yaya expressed her gratitude in being invited to meet her Filipino fans. "It's such an honor to be here and share this wonderful night with you guys. I hope you get to see each other more and more, and again thank you so much for this amazing night. Maraming salamat!" she said.
Likewise, Nadech shared how excited he was to see overseas fans, and said he'd love to visit the Philippines again even if it's not for work. "I'm sorry, my English is not so good, I just want to say thank you to all of you here. I'm so excited to be here and see our fans. I've been working a lot, I've been seeing so many fans in my country, but I never have the chance to see overseas fans. I think our Filipino fans are solid fans, I feel that strong bond. You guys, everyone here today...you guys present here, it means so much to us."
He continued, "We will never forget this moment. We wish we can come back, not just for work, but to visit your country to see all the beautiful and kind people, and good food. If it's for work, I'll be happy to see you all again. If it's not work, and I'll be walking along the streets, if you see me pop up, just give me a shout out, and talk to me."
