Fil-Am singer H.E.R. to play Belle in 'Beauty and the Beast' 30th anniversary celebration

Filipino-American singer H.E.R. will become a Disney Princess as she is set to portray Princess Belle in the 30th anniversary celebration of the 1991 classic Beauty and the Beast.

On Instagram, H.E.R., or Gabriella Wilson in real life, shared the poster of Beauty and the Beast: A 30th Celebration which will air on November 15 in ABC Network in the U.S.

She wrote in the caption, "AHHHHHHHHHHHH IM SOOOOOOOOOOOO EXCITED!!!!!!!!!!!! Join me for the #BeautyAndTheBeast30th, Thursday, Dec 15 on @ABCNetwork and Stream next day on @DisneyPlus !!!!!"

Rita Moreno serves as the narrator in the TV Special which "features live never-before-seen musical performances." The cast includes Josh Groban as Beast, Martin Short as Lumiere, David Alan Grier as Cogsworth, and Shania Twain as Mrs. Potts, among others.

Beauty and the Beast: A 30th Celebration will be available to stream on Disney+ starting Friday, November 16.
