Jayson Gainza, thankful that GMA believes in him

By Kristian Eric Javier

Happy ToGetHer actor and comedian Jayson Gainza could not help but express his gratitude for the opportunity and trust he received from GMA in 2022 when he signed with the Kapuso network.

In an interview on Mornings with GMA Regional TV on January 2, Jayson was asked what he was most thankful for in 2022 and he answered, “Siyempre 'yung nagtiwala sa akin 'yung Kapuso.”

Jayson said that he was thankful he was given work again, and for the opportunity to re-invent himself.

Kumbaga binigyan nila ako ng pagkakataon,” he added.

In November, Jayson officially signed with GMA Network's talent management agency Sparkle GMA Artist Center in the “Signed for Stardom” mass signing event.

The Sparkle comedian said, “Masaya, iba 'yung environment.

What's next for Jayson?

Aside from being a comedian, Jayson said that he wants to go back into making TV series and he is looking forward to making one this coming year.

“This year, gusto ko lang 'yung teleserye. Ako, gusto ko talaga hindi lang sa pagpapatawa, gusto ko rin talaga umarte,” he said.

Jayson, however, reiterated that he's still thankful for the trust given to him by the network and that he will give 110 percent in his work.

Aside from being a mainstay in the hit comedy series, Happy ToGetHer, Jayson is now a co-host of the noontime show TiktoClock with Kim Atienza, Pokwang, and Rabiya Mateo.
